Bridget Yendell

cou.gif

Bridget has been working as a therapist since 1974. Her approach is integrative and humanistic. She works with the person who comes for sessions with her, accompanying them on their unique journey, providing an environment in which they are able to find their own inner wisdom, their own inner resources, which have not been available to them, and where they feel safe to go where they need to go. This environment is one of realness, acceptance and understanding. She is ready to work with any issues they bring. The dialogue between her and the person who comes for sessions is central, and around that, her range can extend from the spiritual and transcendental to bodywork and emotional release. She follows the lead of the person who comes for sessions, so it is up to them where they go. At the same time, she offers what she has to offer in the sessions.

The first session is half price, so both can decide whether it feels right to work together.

Bridget also leads FamilyConstellation workshops, teaches Bodywork and Emotional Release, and the Transcendental, on the Diploma in Counselling at Tower Hamlets College, and is planning to run Relationship Workshops.

A dedicated and enthusiastic massage practitioner, whose bodywork skills are underpinned by her background in mainstream Physiotherapy.  This coupled with her travels to Asia to study Thai Yoga, Thai Foot Massage and the power of Ayurveda give her treatments a wonderful credibility and allow Ola to combine these skills with western techniques.

Following on from her initial training as a Physiotherapist, Ola discovered a much greater passion for bodywork and pain relief.  Her unique blend of mainstream, complementary and energy disciplines affords Ola a speciality in integrated massage therapy.

Ola believes that in tailoring a massage to the individual and their needs using multiple modalities, the results are much greater.

Treatments combine elements of shiatsu, Thai massage, Indian head, trigger points, lymphatic drainage and muscle energy techniques.

Ola feels very strongly that an active lifestyle along with general healthy living are the keys to lifelong good health.  When she has time to relax, she can be found photographing the world or playing ping pong in London Fields.
